Art and culture permeate our lives through individual and collective expression and experiences. Imagine what your life or our community would be like without art.

Our emphasis is on the inter-connection of groups and individuals: this is about making, sharing, learning and engaging in cultural and artistic activities.  There are few pursuits as inter-generational as arts and culture; seniors and young ones sharing the same space.

Art is powerful in isolation and as a shared experience. Art is singing, playing, painting, performing, carving or weaving. It is orchestras, quartets, recitals and high school concerts. Art is collaboration – it connects generations and blends cultures. It creates pride. It is a pastime, a hobby or a professional career. Art motivates the mind, strengthens the heart and moves the soul. Art energizes the community and engages its corporate sector. It revitalizes neighbourhoods and increases tourism.
