Brochure Rack Program
The Brochure Rack Program provides members in good standing with an opportunity to spread their message. The Oakville Arts Council provides the racks and maintains them. The racks are housed at prime locations across the community - Oakville Place Shopping Centre, Queen Elizabeth , Hopedale Mall, and two locations at the Oakville Public Library. In addition, CJ's Cafe in Bronte accepts member materials.


Cultural Grants Program


Oakville makes operating and project grants available to qualified not-for-profit cultural organizations. The Oakville Arts Council, on behalf of the Town of Oakville, administers the Cultural Grants Program. Applications are reviewed by an arm’s length Grants Review Committee, convened by the Oakville Arts Council.
Cogeco Stars Among Us Enriching the creative life of Oakville, Cogeco Stars Among Us is Oakville's only art awards, celebrating the finest Oakville has to offer across all arts disciplines. A red carpet affair not to be missed! Hold the date of October 10, 2013.

Workshops & Seminars

Helping artists do what they do best, the Oakville Arts Council offers workshops and seminars each year on a variety of  topics including marketing, media, grant writing and applications and more. Look for upcoming offerings in our calendars.

Publications

The Oakville Arts Council ensures that the community, its artists and arts groups are kept informed through publications such as Arts About Town, Oakville's only magazine dedicated solely to the arts, a monthly electronic newsletter to our members, our Annual Report and more.
