Cultural Grants:

A Town of Oakville Cultural Grant, whether through operating support or special project funding, can be an important part in supporting the sustainability of your organization. Speak directly to the administrators of the cultural grants program to discover what they need to know about your organization to assist its success. In this workshop, you'll learn the Town’s funding priorities, the ins and outs of submitting applications, getting your questions answered and receiving the support to go forward with your Fall application.  This session will help you get an early start on your statement of interest or final report due Friday, September 21st.

Social media has become a formidable tool, leveling the playing field for small and medium businesses as well as for charitable and not-for-profit organizations. This social media workshop will help your organization tap into these important tactics and develop a social media presence. By the end of our workshop you will have an understanding of the different social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Maps, Blogs and you will have learned how to create a social media marketing plan.
