Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre Updates and Information

Interior Design Committee

Since January 2012, the Oakville Arts Council has been participating on the Interior Design Committee here at QEPCCC.  We have been a part of a dedicated team of arts group representatives and Town of Oakville cultural staff, working to establish an exhibition program here at QEPCCC.

  • MAIN GALLERY EXHIBITION: Call for submissions:
  • QEPCCC welcomes proposals from professional, local artists and curators in the areas of fine art, craft, performance art and digital arts for its Main Gallery. Exhibition opportunities for presentation of artwork in all media including solo and group exhibitions are available for the 2013/2014 exhibition program. Rental rates are for a minimum of 3 weeks and range from $325 to $275 weekly.
The QEPCCC Interior Design Committee reviews all proposals twice a year. Refer to the Main Gallery Application Form and the Main Gallery Procedures. These forms are also available at the QEPCCC Customer Service desk and on the QEPCCC page at www.oakville.ca.
  • SUBMISSION DEADLINES: Completed applications must be received at QEPCCC by the deadline: February 1 or September 1
  • The Corridor Galleries Exhibition:
The Corridor Galleries Exhibition space at the QEPCCC is reserved primarily for QEPCCC Art Organization Group Members. All artists must be a member in good standing with one of the QEPCCC Art Organization Groups. As a member of the Oakville Arts Council, you can participate.

The QEPCCC Cultural Supervisor processes Corridor exhibition requests and the applications are reviewed by the Corridor Exhibitions Review Committee, a sub-committee of the QEPCCC Interior Design Committee. All selected exhibitions are presented to the QEPCCC Interior Design Committee for final approval. Notification of results will take approximately two months after the deadline. Submissions will only be returned provided a self-addressed stamped envelope is included. After receiving notification of acceptance by email, applicants must return a signed, EXHIBITOR’S AGREEMENT.
