Thanks to the generous contributions from our sponsors, the Oakville Arts Council enables local artists and arts organizations and helps raise public awareness of our creative community.
There are many opportunities to support the Oakville Arts Council through sponsorship. For each sponsorship opportunity the OAC has a comprehensive marketing entitlements package. Sponsor entitlements include media coverage, prominent signage and links, OAC marketing and promotional materials and VIP complimentary tickets.
In addition, the OAC maintains communication with thousands of individuals on a regular basis. Through our various publications we advocate, educate and inform residents of Oakville about arts and culture.

Cogeco Stars Among Us is the Oakville Arts Council’s main fundraiser that helps shine a spotlight on local talent to foster creativity, encourage emerging artists and highlight the excellence of the arts in our community. In total, five arts awards are presented throughout the evening mixed with a variety of excellent performances. Mayor Rob Burton opens the evening before a capacity audience of Oakville’s artists, businesses, civic and creative decision makers. In addition, we welcome The Oakville Beaver and North Oakville Today as our Print Media Partners and TVCOGECO as the Broadcast Partner. This “red carpet” event awards local artists in the disciplines of: Literary Arts; New Media; Performing Arts; Visual Arts; and a Young Artist Award (18 years and under). Local artists win $500 in each category and an opportunity to be recognized on stage in front of their peers, civic and business leaders in our community.
