The Oakville Arts Council has been granting eligible organizations Operating Grants and Project Grants since 1990. The Cultural Grants program is meant to help not-for-profit groups enrich the community of Oakville with cultural activity. The Arts Council provides access to this program and assists applicants in writing their cultural grants applications. A Town of Oakville Cultural Grant, whether through operating support or special project funding, can be an important part in supporting the sustainability of your organization. Come out to this workshop to speak directly to the administrators of the cultural grants program to discover what they need to know about your organization to assist its success. In this workshop, you'll learn the Town’s funding priorities, the ins and outs of submitting applications, getting your questions answered and receiving the support you may need to go forward with your Fall application. This session will help you get an early start on your statement of interest or final report due Friday, September 21st. Please note that there have been updates to the Terms of Reference and Eligibility. We recommend all groups who have received past funding or are looking to apply for a 2013 grant attend this session.
