  • These Volunteer Management workshops are free for our members and affiliated board members. These workshops are an invaluable tool for any Not-for-Profit Organization working with volunteers, or looking to establish a volunteer program.

The population in Halton Region is changing. Volunteer participation in nonprofit organizations is an important way for our diverse communities to be included while offering their skills and insights. Join us to find out how data can assist you in your work.

In this workshop, participants will:

1. Gain an understanding of the changing demographics of Halton

2. Gain a greater understanding of the purpose of statistics

3. Seeing your agency in data

4. Discuss practical ways statistics/data can be used within your agency's planning:

a. When to use it

b. Where to find it

c. How to use it

Presenter: Ted Hildebrandt, Director of Social Planning, Community Development Halton.
Ted oversees the acquisition and analysis of data for CDH, including the production of Social Profiles for the Halton Region and data analysis for community organizations addressing issues such as diversity, poverty and affordable housing.
