The field of fund development is wide and constantly changing, making it a complicated one to navigate. Whether you are new to fundraising or a seasoned veteran, the planning challenges in fundraising no matter who you are or the size of your organization, is to match methods of fundraising with your mission, the characteristics of potential supporters and the resources available to do the necessary work. But what methods are appropriate for your organization? How do you identify prospects and cultivate relationships? What are the necessary actionable fundraising activities involved in your campaign? The Oakville Arts Council is bringing together leading fundraising experts to discuss the new age of fundraising – how it has changed, where it is headed and how local non-profits can make their fundraising campaign stand out. This workshop is geared towards non-profit board members and staff who want to strengthen their fundraising story, learn about fundraising in the age of crowd funding and meet other local, like-minded organizations.

This is a free workshop for OAC paid members. Members please register using your organizations login information.

Registration begins at 6:00. Workshop will begin at 6:30.
