ATTENTION: OAKVILLE'S NOT-FOR-PROFIT ARTS & CULTURE ORGANIZATIONS
Are you an Oakville not-for-profit arts group that is planning to apply for a 2015 Oakville Cultural Grant? If so, it is essential that you and/or your grant writer attend this workshop. There have been updates to the Terms of Reference and the Eligibility and Criteria. To help your board or executive understand the grants process, we encourage you to invite them to participate at this workshop too.
A Town of Oakville Cultural Grant can be an important part in supporting the sustainability of your organization. Come out to this workshop to discover what you need to know about the Town’s funding priorities, the funding criteria and what the review panel is looking for in your application. This session will help you get an early start on your statement of interest (if you are a new applicant) or final report (if you received funds last year).
Applying for funding is done in two stages:
1. Statement of Interest or Final Report (deadline: Friday, September 19, 2014 by 4PM)
2. Applications (deadline: Friday, October 24, 2014 by 4PM)
NEW DEADLINE DATE! The Oakville Arts Council, an arms-length charitable organization, has been granting eligible organizations Town of Oakville cultural grants since 1990. The Cultural Grants program is meant to help Oakville's not-for-profit arts and cultural groups enrich the community of Oakville with arts and cultural activity. Register for this workshop today!
If your group is planning to apply for funds and not able to attend this workshop, you must let Bernadette Ward know. You will be required to speak/meet with her before submitting your application.
