Bernadette came to the Oakville Arts Council as a communications professional after having studied journalism at Sheridan College and Communications at McMaster University. She has held progressively responsible positions in the field of communications and held the roles of Communications Director and Operational Director prior to accepting the role of Executive Director at the Oakville Arts Council.

Pamela Keywan
Membership & Office Administrator

Pamela brings a wealth of experience, skills and talent to her role with the Oakville Arts Council. Sales and marketing, book-keeping and event planning; from her past ventures in entrepreneurship to her involvement as an actor and director with Oakville’s local theatre groups Pamela is the go-to person when it comes to the OAC membership services.

Giulia Simonato
Coordinator of Volunteer Services

Giulia joins the Oakville Arts Council as an arts management professional after graduating from Western University's post-graduate Arts Management diploma program and York University's Environmental Arts & Culture degree program. She has developed a number of cultural research projects with various community arts groups and has experience as both a volunteer and intern in the not-for-profit sector. She is proud to be a part of the Oakville arts community!

Alison Myers-Gomez
Administrator of Volunteer Services

Alison has previously completed a BSc degree, and has volunteered for several years with multiple not-for-profit organizations. She enjoys acting and has lived in Oakville for almost a decade. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in community theatre productions, acting and improv classes and on camera work, all within the Town of Oakville. Alison is delighted to be working at the Oakville Arts Council.
